11/06/2016 - College PREP - Detroit, MI Sydney is a 2018 first baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, Sydney has a good pre pitch and displays a clean transfer to throw. She also shows high energy with each play on the field. By working more from the ground/up and playing through the ball, Sydney will see that her skill set will become smoother and more fluid. Offensively, Sydney stays balanced in her swing and swings hard through the zone. By engaging her lower half and focusing on her hand path to the ball, Sydney will be able to see her power increase and her consistency improve at the plate. Overall, Sydney has a good attitude and will continue to use that high energy to work hard on everything needed to take her game to the next level.
