On the mound, Sydney uses a full arm swing and forward hand positioning to smoothly deliver the ball. She uses a mixture of pitches to attack each batter. Her biggest asset is her change up. It has good speed and movement that keeps batters off balance. By working on her front side and getting her hips in line, Sydney will be able to snap off the pitch in line with the plate. Offensively, she uses a square setup with a long stride to make a positive move to the ball. She is an aggressive hitter with quick bat speed. Sydney has solid lower half rotation, and uses her legs in her swing. Sydney will benefit from becoming a more consistent hitter. Overall, Sydney is a hard worker that will continue to develop as a player.
