08/05/2018 - College PREP - Albany, NY Syrah is a 2020 OF with a developing skill set. In the box, Syrah is a RHH that uses a square stance with a square stride and centered balance. She loads her hands back, creates fluid rhythm and generates fast bat speed. She makes consistent hard contact and is a line drive hitter. Seeing the ball deeper in the zone will allow her to be on time to contact and extend through the ball. In the OF, Syrah hustles every play. She has a good approach to the ball, fields with sure hands and makes a clean exchange. She gets in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Using a crow hop in her ground ball approach will allow her to generate more momentum to her target. Overall, Syrah is an athletic player with the tools needed to play at the next level.
