05/29/2014 - College World Series Select Training Tali is a sophomore shortstop / catcher with a developing skill set. Defensively, Tali has an out front fielding position. She receives the ball with firm hands out in front of her body. Tali has active footwork and moves well from side to side at times. By working to become more aggressive on the field, Tali will become a more efficient fielder. Offensively, Tali uses a square setup and short stride to make a positive move to the ball. She has an on time lower half and maintains centered balance through contact. Tali works to hit line drives and gets to the extension position. Tali will benefit from adding some angle in her barrel at contact and driving up the middle. Overall Tali is a young athlete that will continue to grow and develop with training.
