10/28/2018 - College PREP - Raleigh, NC Taniyah is a 2021 2B with a developing skill set. In the box, Taniyah is a RHH that uses a square stance with a soft stride. She creates smooth rhythm and loads her hands back. She works to engage her lower half and is able to put the ball in play consistently. Working to stay inside the ball and accelerating through the zone will allow her to see more line drive power. At 2B, Taniyah hustles every play. She has active footwork and moves well to her glove side. She presents her glove on time, fields with sure hands and makes a clean transfer. She gets in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Staying low and using a shorter arm action will allow her to get rid of the ball quicker. Overall, Taniyah is a hard working player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
