08/26/2018 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ Tara is a 2020 RHP/3B with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has active feet and range to her glove side. She has soft hands when fielding the ball and a clean exchange on her throws to her target. She is short to the ball and creates backspin on her release. In the circle, she has a calm presence on the mound and extends through well on her release. She keeps an open hip direction and stays tall in her finish. She has good balance and stays smooth in her mechanics. Offensively, she has a square and athletic setup in the box and a solid load in her lower half. She needs to work on her weight transfer through her swing and driving through extension to create maximum pop behind her contact. Overall, Tara is very coachable and with continued work, she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
