08/09/2015 - College PREP - Boca Raton, FL Taylor is an athletic 2016 RHP/SS with a solid skill set. Offensively, Taylor uses square set up with activated hands and good use of her back leg. She has lots of natural strength and potential for additional power production. Continuing to improve on keeping her back hand strong and focusing on driving her hands in plane with the ball will increase bat speed and barrel accuracy. On the mound Taylor is a leader with confident presence. She uses a four pitch package to challenge hitters, with her screwball being her best. She is consistent in the strike zone with good arm action and the ability to make adjustments. She will see improvement on her control by staying on her power line. At SS, Taylor has a lot of spunk. She is athletic with a good pre-pith position. She has efficient footwork, on time hand separation, and good use of her momentum to make the play. Working on fielding the ball more in front will help Taylor develop more fluidity. Overall, Taylor is a talented player with skills that will benefit a collegiate program in the future.
