07/23/2013 - College PREP - Watertown, WI Taylor is a talented young RHP with good instincts and potential. In the circle, Taylor uses a whip like arm swing with forward hand position and an athletic stance. She has good presence on the mound, understands changing speeds and should continue to work on improving her command through better direction to the plate with a more complete finish with sound direction. At the plate, Taylor has a tall set up with a downward load, a short stride and keeps her weight back before launching to the ball. Uphill at times, her swing recovers to produce consistent contact to the pull side. She competes at the plate and possesses an above average bunt game which she effectively uses to apply pressure to opposing defenses. Overall, Taylor has a steady skill set and should continue to work hard, have fun and remember to be detailed in her preparation to ensure she reaches her full potential.
