08/06/2017 - College PREP - Albany, NY Taylor is a 2018 3B/OF with a developing skill set. In the box Taylor uses a square stance with centered balance. She generates explosive bat speed and is a spray hitter. She has a good bunt approach and is willing to put down the sacrifice when needed. Creating rhythm and a consistent load will help Taylor generate momentum to contact and see an increase in power. At 3B Taylor uses a low fielding position and has fluid footwork. She presents her glove on time, makes a clean exchange and makes accurate throws. Working to stay low through the backhand will allow her to play through and make a smooth transfer. In the OF Taylor hustles every play. She reads the ball well and does a nice job of using the crow hop. Adding a pre pitch to her approach will allow her to get a better first step on the ball and drop step to balls over her head. Overall Taylor is a hard working player and with continued coaching she will have the opportunity to take her game to the next level.
