06/12/2017 - College PREP - Hoover (Birmingham), AL Taylor is a 2019 two-way player as a RHP/OF. On the mound, Taylor is a team player that works to generate ground ball outs. She uses a 4-pitch package that includes a change up that she is able to throw for a strike. Staying relaxed on the mound will allow Taylor to focus on each pitch and let her mechanics work. In the OF Taylor is an athletic player with a strong arm. She does a nice job of playing through the ball and following through to her target with accurate throws. She has active footwork and working to take the proper angles will allow her to get behind the ball more. In the box Taylor is a RHH that uses a square stance with a back load and square stride. Working to take direct route to the ball and engaging her lower half will allow Taylor to see consistency at the plate with power production. Overall, Taylor is an athletic player and with continued coaching she will have the opportunity to take her game to the next level.
