01/12/2018 - Softball Factory Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown Taylor is a 2020 right handed outfielder and second baseman with a developing skill set. In the outfield, she stays athletic in her fielding position and hustles hard after every ball. She makes adjustments when needed and is always ready for the next play. By focusing on better angles she will position herself to get behind the ball so that she can gain momentum through her throw to her target. In the infield, Taylor displayed quick and active footwork. She stayed low and athletic in her fielding position and moves well to her glove side. She stays light on her feet and is not afraid to dive for balls in the holes in order to keep it in the infield. Offensively, she has a tall set up and a short stride to the ball. She stays center in her balance and shows the ability to square up the ball. Overall, Taylor has great work ethic and a positive attitude. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
10/08/2017 - College PREP - Woodlyn (Chester), PA Taylor is a 2019 two-way player as a OF/2B. In the box, Taylor is a RHH that makes consistent contact. She is able to work the middle of the field with line drive production. Creating rhythm with a load will allow Taylor to take a direct route to contact and generate more bat speed. In the OF, Taylor handles the routine fly ball well. She works to get around the ball allowing her to get in line with her target. Playing through the ball will allow her to generate momentum to her target and see more carry on the ball. At 2B, Taylor hustles each play. She shows quick footwork on the double play and gives her teammate good feeds. Working on a long toss program will allow her to see an increase in her arm strength. Overall, Taylor is dedicated player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
