08/23/2015 - College PREP - Honolulu, HI Taylor is a 2018 1B with an advanced skill set. In the box Taylor uses a square stance with good balance and on time rhythm. She has an activated load, takes direct route to the ball and generates good bat speed. She is explosive to the ball and is a consistent gap-to-gap hitter. Seeing the ball deeper into the hitting zone will allow Taylor to hit to all fields. At 1B Taylor has a good presence and has good field awareness. She has efficient footwork in her approach, presents her glove on time and fields with soft/sure hands. She reads the ball well and is able to turn the double play fluidly. Adding a pre pitch to her approach will allow Taylor to play through the ball and gain momentum to her target. Overall Taylor is an athletic player with the tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
