08/23/2015 - College PREP - Honolulu, HI Teizha is a 2017 two-way player as a 3B/C with a developing skill set. In the box Teizha is a RHH that uses a square stance with good balance and on time rhythm. She uses an activated load and generates good bat speed. She makes consistent contact and does a nice job of working the middle of the field. She shows good pitch recognition and is able to hit opposite field. Creating more separation in her load will allow Teizha to increase her bat speed and see more power production at the plate. At 3B Teizha is a physical player that is willing to get dirty to keep the ball in the INF. She reads the ball off the bat well, presents her glove on time and fields with soft/sure hands. She makes a quick transfer and makes accurate throws to her target. Adding a pre pitch to her approach will allow Teizha to play through the ball and gain ground to her target. Behind the plate Teizha is a team player with a good presence. She presents a good target, looks the ball in and receives with sure hands. She moves well to block balls in the dirt and works to get her hips around the ball. Getting her glove down sooner will allow Teizha to plug the hole and keep the ball in front. Overall Teizha is a hard working player and with continued coaching, reps and exposure she will have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
