01/17/2014 - Softball Factory Spring Training at Vero Beach Vivanna is an evolving C with a balanced skill set. Behind the plate, she receives with soft hands and active footwork when blocking. Working on a quicker arm slot will help to improve transfer and release time. Overall, Vivianna makes adjustments quickly and has a confident approach as a catcher. At the plate, she uses an athletic set up and a short stride and bat path before producing contact. She shows good power and will benefit from an explosive lower half to improve power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Vivianna has a desire to get better and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
