03/09/2013 - College PREP - Mt. Laurel, NJ Yasmin is a 3 sport athlete with a developing skill set in the OF. Defensively, she tracks the ball well off the bat and will benefit from keeping her feet active pre-pitch, keeping her glove tucked close to her body when pursuing the ball and being more aggressive in her approach to ball both on the ground and in the air. At the plate, Yasmin uses a square set up with a back load, sound stride and some balance before producing hard contact. She generates quick bat speed and will have more success if she keeps her front side on the ball longer and uses her lower half more aggressively with a good back foot pivot to keep her barrel in the zone for as long as possible. Overall, Yasmin is slightly ahead offensively at this time and needs to be detailed in her preparation on both sides of the ball to make the adjustments necessary to play at the next level.
