05/31/2018 - Softball Factory College World Series Select Training (Grad Year 2018-2022) Aaliyah is a 2021 right handed pitcher with a developing skill set. On the mound, she has a confident presence and keeps an open hip direction. She is controlled in her finish and makes great use of her legs as she drives off of the mound to create more velocity behind her pitches. She has a strong curve ball and rise ball with tight spin. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and stays center in her balance. She keeps her bat level through the zone and makes adjustments each pitch. Overall, Aaliyah has great work ethic and will do what it takes to play at the next level.
02/11/2018 - College PREP - Corpus Christi, TX Aaliyah is a 2021 right handed pitcher with a developing skill set. On the mound, she has a calm and confident presence. She is smooth in her motion and has a solid change up that she mixes in very well with her other pitches. She extends through on her release and keeps an open hip direction. She has good balance and a fluid arm circle. Her mechanics are controlled and she creates good wrist action on each of her pitches. Offensively, she has a tall set up and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well and has a firm front side in her finish. She has a fluid bat path and see the ball well to contact. Overall, Aaliyah hustles hard and has a good attitude. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
