01/15/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Abigail is an athletic SS who has a bright future on the field. At SS, she displays clean/smooth actions. Feet are active as she displays proper footwork as she works to square ground balls up and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Throws are accurate with carry (63 mph velocity) to her target. She moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground in the MIF. At the plate she continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. She has strength in her swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap to gap pop. Mental makeup is a plus as she is very coachable, works hard to be the best player she can be, and is a team player. With 3 years to further develop, Abigail has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from collegiate coaches with her abilities.
