06/26/2012 - Advanced Training and Competition at the World Cup Adriana is a solid infielder with quick feet and some life in her throwing arm. Defensively, she plays low and handled both SS and 3B nicely, making the routine plays and working to improve her angles to the ball. She shows some side to side mobility, plays low and has a very quick, consistent exchange and release. I would like to see her improve her path to the ball with her feet as well as her overall strength and agility to allow her to sharpen up some of her footwork around the bag. At the plate, Adriana uses a balanced set up with a back load, short stride and has stable balance to launch her aggressive, level swing. She is explosive with her lower half and will benefit from creating more separation between hands and front foot to keep her seeing the ball deep in the zone and hitting the ball hard to all fields
