06/18/2018 - Softball Factory World Series (Grad Year 2018-2022) Alexis is a 2020 two-way player as a RHP/OF with a developing skill set. On the mound, Alexis shows good body control, good balance and a fluid arm action. She has a 4-pitch package and does a nice job of working ahead in the count. She is not afraid to attack hitters and has a nice change up that keeps them off balance. Engaging her lower half more will allow her to gain more speed. In the OF, Alexis hustles every play. She handles the routine play and gets the ball in quickly. Adding a pre-pitch approach will allow her to get a strong first step on the ball and will allow her to play through the ball more. In the box, Alexis is a RHH that uses an open stance. She works to put the ball in play and is a pull side hitter. Working to create a weight transfer will allow her to engage her lower half and see more line drive power. Overall, Alexis is a coachable player and with continued hard work she will be able to take her game to the next level.
