05/21/2017 - College PREP - Glen Allen (Richmond), VA Alexis is a 2020 right handed catcher with a developing skill set. Defensively, Alexis has a good setup position and soft hands to the ball. She is accurate with her throws to the bases. By focusing on creating a quicker transfer she will create more drive behind her throw to her target. Offensively, she has a square and athletic setup and stays on time through her stride. She loads back through her legs and stays smooth through the zone. By focusing on staying more closed through her swing she will see a difference in hitting the outside pitch more consistently. Overall, Alexis is a great athlete and will work hard on what is needed to take her game to the next level.
