12/27/2018 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament (Grad Years 2019-2023) Alexis is a shortstop with a developing skill set. She is athletic and always ready for the next play ahead of her. She keeps a great attitude and hustles on and off the field. Defensively, she is athletic in her fielding position and is smooth to the ball in her footwork. She stay low through the ball and has a clean exchange on her throws to her target. She has a quick release and creates good backspin on her ball to first base. Offensively, she has a square setup in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She is controlled in her rhythm and center in her balance. She extends through well and keeps her hands direct to the ball. Overall, Alexis is athletic and will do what it takes to play at the next level.

09/09/2018 - College PREP - Gambrills, MD Alexis is a 2022 right handed shortstop with a strong skill set. She has a great attitude and is always working hard. Defensively, she has fluid footwork and stays low in her legs through the ball. She displays range to both sides and creates solid momentum through each play. She has a smooth glove and keeps the ball in the infield. Offensively, she has a square setup in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back in her legs well and drives through her lower half to create power behind her contact. Her hips and hands work well together in her swinging motion and she gets to extension well in her swing. Overall, Alexis has a lot of talent and will make a great asset to a collegiate level team in her future.

08/02/2018 - Softball Factory Advanced Training (Grad Years 2018-2023) Alexis returns to Softball Factory for another player development event. Since her last outing, Alexis has made increases to her offensive and defensive tool grades. She is dedicated to the game and proves to be a coachable player who is able to make game time adjustments. In the box, Alexis is a consistent hitter that shows power to the gaps. She uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She generates fast bat speed and takes a direct path to the ball. At SS, Alexis hustles every play. She shows good range and stays low when fielding the ball. She shows good footwork on the double play and provides good feeds to her teammates. Working to use a short arm action will allow her to get rid of the ball quicker. Overall, Alexis has showed her ability to improve her skill set and will be a great addition to a collegiate line up.

07/08/2017 - Advanced Training and Competition at the World Cup Alexis is a 2022 SS with a developing skill set. Defensively Alexis is an agile player with active footwork. She uses a pre pitch in her approach and squares up on the ball. She provides good feeds on the double play and is a vocal player. Presenting her glove sooner will allow her to play through the ball, make a quick exchange and have a short fluid arm action. Overall Alexis works hard and with continued coaching she will have the opportunity to take her game to the next level.
