02/10/2019 - College PREP - Corpus Christi, TX Alexis is a 2021 right handed second baseman with a developing skill set who has brought great energy to each factory event. Defensively, she has range to her glove side and stays low through the ball. She is clean in her exchange and short in her action. She is aggressive to the ball and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and is fluid in her swing motion. She is explosive through the zone and hits the ball hard up the middle. Overall, Alexis is very coachable and works hard every time she steps on the field.
07/12/2018 - Advanced Training and Competition at the International Cup (Grad Years 2018-2022) Alexis joins Softball Factory for her first player development event. Since her last outing Alexis proves that she has been working hard to take her game to the next level. She has improved her hitting tool grades along with her home to first time. In the box, Alexis has an aggressive approach. She makes square contact and shows line drive power. Working to stay inside the ball will allow her to see an increase in her power production. At 2B, Alexis reads the ball well. She does a nice job of fielding out in front. Adding a throwing progression to her workouts will allow her to gain more arm strength. Overall, Alexis is a coachable player and with continued hard work she will be able to take her game to the next level.
02/11/2018 - College PREP - Corpus Christi, TX Alexis is a 2021 right handed second baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has fluid feet and is aggressive in her action to the ball. She keeps her head down on the ball and moves well laterally. She keeps her movements short and compact and has a quick release on her throws. She keeps her throws on line and accurate to her target. She works through the ball well and keeps the ball in the infield. Offensively, she has a square set up and stays solid and strong in her stance. She loads back well and has a good eye for the strike zone. She shows power to her pull side and makes consistent contact. Overall, Alexis hustles hard and adjusts well. If she continues to improve and work hard she will do what it takes to get her game to the next level.
