Defensively, she communicates well on the field, has good double play feeds and shows good effort on the field. Working on staying in an athletic position when fielding and throwing will help her to improve efficiency. Overall, Alexis hustles and has a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she keeps her balance centered as she makes contact with a level swing. She shows potential for power and will benefit from driving the hands through the zone quickly as well as incorporating an explosive lower half to improve power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Alexis has a good frame for the position and has solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
