06/20/2016 - Softball Factory World Series Alexis is 2017 right-handed pitcher / outfielder with a balanced skill set. In the circle, Alexis uses a fastball, rise, change combination to keep hitters off balance. She has an on time separation with fluid arm action during her delivery. Alexis has good composure on the mound and is always in control of her pitches. Also on defense, Alexis is a plus outfielder. She has good range, covering a lot of ground beginning with her efficient footwork. When approaching a ground ball, she fields the ball out in front of her body with sure hands. When throwing, she has proper footwork and continues her momentum to her target, making on line throws. Offensively, Alexis has a square setup and stride with good balance. She has activated hands with an on time launch to contact. Alexis takes a direct route to the ball and does a good job of keeping her hips and hands connected. Alexis sprays the ball to all fields with some pop. Overall, Alexis is a versatile player that will be a great asset to any team.
02/07/2016 - College PREP - Corpus Christi, TX Alexis is a 2017 OF/RHP with a solid skill set. In the box, Alexis is an athletic RHH with quick bat speed and raw power. She has centered balance, fluid launch, and good hip/hand coordination. Alexis is short to contact and can hit with power to all fields. She will benefit from getting longer extension after contact. On the mound, Alexis is a leader with confident mound presence. She uses a four pitch package to challenge hitters with her drop ball being her best. She has centered balance as she gathers over the rubber, fluid arm action, and consistent arm speed. She will benefit from being more explosive off the mound. In the OF, Alexis continues to display her athleticism. She has active feet with proper angles as she carries her momentum through the play. Overall, Alexis is an exciting player to watch. She without a doubt has skills that will transfer to the next level.
