04/22/2018 - College PREP - Columbia, SC Alexis is a 2023 right handed pitcher and third baseman with a developing skill set. On the mound, she has a calm and confident presence and extends through on her release. She stays tall in her finish and has a fluid arm action. Her mechanics are controlled and she shows consistency in her change up. At third base, she showed good range to both sides. She has a clean exchange on her throws to her target and accurate throws. She keeps her momentum forward through each play and makes routine plays. Offensively, Alexis has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and makes consistently hard contact to both sides of the field. Overall, Alexis has a great attitude and if she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
