11/18/2012 - College PREP - Atlanta, GA Alexis is an aggressive two way player with great energy. As a 3B, she keeps active feet and is an accurate thrower with a pretty good release. To further develop, she needs to improve her glove position out front, shorten footwork to throw and improve glove presentation without the presence of a glove flip. As an OF, she uses her feet aggressively and puts throws on the bag. Again, she will benefit from cutting down the number of steps she takes to throw and will create better carry if she follows her throws with her feet. At the plate, she uses a crouched set up with a bat wrap load, centered balance and an aggressive approach to the ball. She flashes the ability to drive the ball when she centers it and will be more consistent if she improves her set up with a relaxed back elbow and a level that she can maintain throughout her swing ( not too crouched).
