01/15/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Alysia is a strong C prospect who showed well during the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. Behind the plate, Alysia sits in an athletic stance and receives with a firm glove. She has a quick exchange and makes strong/accurate throws through the 2B bag. She moves on time to block and centers the ball in the middle of her body. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. She gets her hands activated on time and is explosive driving her lower half through. She works through a smooth swing with plus bat speed, leading to loud contact and strong line drives. Overall, Alysia is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.
05/26/2019 - College PREP - San Diego, CA Alysia is a 2021 right handed catcher and third baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she is aggressive to the ball and keeps the ball in the infield. She has good body control and moves well through ground balls. She is quick in her transfer and makes accurate throws to her target. Behind the plate, she has a strong base and is short in her action to the ball. She frames each pitch well and has a clean exchange on her throws to bases. Offensively, she has an athletic setup in the box and an on time stride to the ball. She is fluid in her rhythm and center in her balance. She has fast hands through the zone and she makes hard contact consistently. Overall, Alysia hustles hard and has great work ethic.
