Defensively, she has effective footwork and solid range to both her glove side and her backhand side. She stays square in her fielding position and has firm hands when fielding the ball. She has a clean exchange and quick action. She makes accurate throws to her target and has a quick release and solid momentum through each play. Offensively, Alyssa has a square setup in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well and gets to extension in her swing really well. She stays center in her balance and her hips and hands work well with each other. She has fast bat speed and a direct bat path to the ball. She shows power to the opposite field and consistently squares up the ball. Overall, Alyssa hustles hard and is very athletic. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
