04/29/2018 - College PREP - Long Island, NY Amanda is a 2021 left handed pitcher and first baseman with a developing skill set. In the infield, she has a strong base at first and stays down on the ball. She fields the ball out in front and makes accurate throws to her target. She makes great effort and has proper mechanics on her throws. On the mound, Amanda has a calm presence and extends through on her release. She stays tall in her finish and has good balance on the mound. She has fluid arm action and is smooth on her change up. She has tight snap on her curve ball and overall has a good mix of pitches. Offensively, she has a tall set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She stays center in her balance and makes consistent contact. Overall, she is very coachable and has love for the game. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
