04/08/2018 - College PREP - Marlborough (Boston), MA Amber is a 2022 two-way player as a RHP/SS. On the mound, Amber has a confident presence. She has a free arm action with smooth mechanics. She uses a 4-pitch package and her curveball is a strong strike out pitch. Working to maintain her balance and finishing with control will allow her to see an increase in her velocity. At SS, Amber fields with soft hands, makes a quick exchange and makes accurate throws. Creating a fluid approach to the ball will allow her to field the ball on time. In the box, Amber is a RHH that uses a square stance with centered balance and a short stride. She makes consistent contact and is able to work the gaps. Working to add a load to her hands will allow her to generate more bat speed. Overall, Amber is a coachable player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
