She is able to square up and hit but is also able to slap. She uses a square stance with a short, square stride. She creates smooth rhythm with a back load. She has a firm front side, squares on contact and works the middle of the field. When slapping, she is on time with her footwork. She works down with her hands and does a nice job of placing the ball in the 5/6 hole. Working to generate more bat speed will allow her to see more gap power. Behind the plate, Amber has a good presence with a low and athletic stance. She presents a good target and works to frame the zone. Working to be quite with her glove will allow her to get more calls in the river. She makes a clean exchange, has a short arm action and gets in line with her target. She makes accurate throws, and her pop times are strong at 1.93. Amber reads the ball in the dirt well and is quick to block. In the OF, Amber has great energy. She reads the ball off the bat and takes good angles. She gets in line with her target, makes a clean exchange and makes accurate throws with carry. Staying low through the ground ball will allow her to play through more. Overall Amber is a versatile player with the tools needed to play at the next level.
