07/09/2019 - 2019 Atlanta Legacy Showcase 16U Ana returns to another Softball Factory event displaying her strong abilities and impressing with her work ethic. At shortstop, she is athletic in her fielding position and stays low through each play. She has effective footwork and moves well laterally to the ball. She keeps the ball in the infield with her range and makes strong throws across the diamond. Offensively, she is relaxed in the box and loose in her hands. She activates her lower half well through her swing and makes hard contact to all parts of the field. She sees the ball well to her barrel and gets through extension well in her swing. Overall, Ana continues to impress and have positive energy on and off the field. She has a very bright future ahead of herself.
11/14/2018 - Under Armour Softball Factory Fall Classic - 16U Ana is a Softball Factory veteran that continues to elevate her game. Throughout the event she proved to be a leader on and off the field. In the box, Ana has a calm and confident presence. She is able to the work the count and consistently puts the ball in play. She is a line drive hitter that is also a power hitter to the pull side. Working to stay inside the ball more and extending through contact will allow her to see continued success. At 3B, Ana is an athletic player with smooth footwork. She reads the ball off the bat well and has a quick first step. She presents her glove on time, fields with sure hands and makes a clean transfer. She gets in line with her target and makes accurate throws with carry. She is a gamer is willing to get dirty to keep the ball in the INF. Overall, Ana has the work ethic and tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
04/08/2018 - College PREP - Marlborough (Boston), MA Ana returns to Softball Factory for her second event. Since her last outing Ana shows improvements in all her tool grades and raw velo. She is an athletic player with the work ethic that collegiate coaches look to add to their lineup. In the box, Ana is a RHH that uses a square stance with centered balance and an on-time stride. She creates fluid rhythm with a smooth load. Ana makes hard, consistent contact and hits to all fields with power. At SS, she is an agile player that takes the proper angles to the ball. She makes a clean transfer and makes accurate throws with carry. She is confident in her approach to the double play and is able to play through the bag. Overall, Ana will be a great addition to a collegiate line up.
04/09/2017 - College PREP - Marlborough (Boston), MA Ana is a 2021 shortstop with a strong skill set. Defensively, Ana has quick, fluid feet with a strong arm. She has a clean exchange to her target and makes accurate throws. She takes good angles to the ball and keeps her movements short and quick. Offensively, she has great power and an athletic setup. She stays on time through her stride and has smooth rhythm through the zone. She shows good box presence and a short bat path to the ball. Overall, Ana is a great athlete with tons of potential that will be a great asset to any collegiate program.
