12/18/2020 - Softball Factory Academic All-American Tournament Annabelle is an athletic C/OF who has a promising future on the field. Behind the dish, she presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. She uses her body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner and improve her lateral movements. Pop times showed in the range of 2.31 with accuracy and carry (51 mph velocity) to her target. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well. She is vocal and a leader behind the plate. In the OF, she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. She works to get behind and plays through with momentum to her target. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. At the plate, she continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (59 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. With 4 years to further develop, Annabelle has a lot of potential with time and room to progress her game.
