04/29/2018 - College PREP - Long Island, NY Arianna is a 2020 right handed shortstop with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has fluid footwork and is agile in her range. She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and has soft hands receiving the ball. She has a quick exchange on her throws and good momentum through each play. She is smooth on her backhand side and takes good angles to the ball. Offensively, Arianna has an athletic set up in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and gets to extension well in her swing. Her hips and hands work well together and she has solid barrel control. She shows the ability to drive the ball in the gaps. Overall, she is athletic and has great work ethic. If she continues to work hard she will make a great asset to a collegiate team in her future.
