04/29/2018 - College PREP - Adrian (Detroit), MI Ariel is a 2019 two-way player as an OF/2B. In the box, Ariel is a RHH that uses a tall stance. She swings hard each pitch and works the pull side of the field. Creating a stride and load in her swing will allow her to create rhythm and generate momentum to and through the ball. In the OF, Ariel hustles every play. She handles the routine play and works to get to the ball quickly. Getting in line with her target and finishing her throws will allow her to see more carry on the ball. At 2B, Ariel communicates well with her defense. She works to get in line with her target and shows carry on the ball. Adding ladder drills to her workouts will allow her to quicken her footwork and see more range. Overall, Ariel is a hard working player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
