02/09/2020 - College PREP - Corpus Christi, TX Ava Aleman is a 2023 right-handed utility player with a developing skill set. At second base, she has active footwork around the ball and agility in her lateral range. She moves through the ball well and has an accurate throw to her target. She creates angles with her glove and has strong double play footwork. In the outfield, she has an athletic fielding position and clean movements. She creates great angles around the ball and keeps her feet moving beneath fly balls. Offensively, Ava has an aggressive mindset at the plate and good eye for the strike zone. She has an athletic setup and on-time stride. She has a loaded pre-pitch approach and good extension through the ball. She has the ability to make hard contact consistently and hits it gap to gap.

05/31/2018 - Softball Factory College World Series Select Training (Grad Year 2023-2025) Ava is a 2023 right handed pitcher with a developing skill set. In the circle, she gets ahead in the count and shows confidence. She has a good body angle in her motion on her screw ball and gets open really well in her wind up. She uses her legs well to drive off but needs to focus on her arm circle and making sure that she has a full arm circle rather than bending throughout her motion. She cuts off of her arm circle when bending and restricts herself on her pitches. Offensively, she has a square and athletic set up in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She stays center in her balance and shows pop behind her contact. She makes consistently hard contact and keeps a solid base throughout her swing. Overall, Ava has great work ethic and if she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
