Defensively, she has effective footwork and has present hands when fielding the ball. She has a clean exchange on her throws and keeps the ball on line to her target. She moves well laterally and displays aggressive effort in the infield. Offensively, Ava has a square set up in the box with a soft stride to the ball. She stays through the ball well getting to extension in her swing. Her hips and hands work well together and she displays power in the gaps. Overall, Ava has great work ethic and if she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
