05/30/2019 - Softball Factory College World Series - Futures Select Training Avery returns to another Softball factory event displaying her strong skill set. Defensively, she is relaxed and smooth in her footwork to the ball. She stays low through each play and creates good momentum through each play. She has a clean exchange on her throws to her target and displaying strength in her release. In the circle, Averi is calm and keeps an open hip direction. She tends to fall off at times instead of keeping her lower line through the zone. If she stays in line and drives off of the mound well in her legs she creates solid velocity in her pitches. Offensively, she is loose in her hands and activates her lower half well through her swing. She is controlled in her stride and makes consistent contact in the gaps. Averi is very coachable and works hard. If she continues to do so, she will make it to the next level.
