02/11/2018 - College PREP - Monticello, IA Baylee is a 2020 C with a developing skill set. In the box, Baylee is a RHH that uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She loads her hands back and works to stay inside the ball. She has a middle of the field approach and works to create line drive power. Working to engage her lower half and being on time to contact will allow her to see consistent contact. Behind the plate, Baylee has a balanced stance. She presents a good target and looks the ball in. She makes a clean exchange and works to get in line with her target. She does a nice job of reading the ball in the dirt and works to get around the ball. Working to use a shorter arm action and following through her throw will allow her to see more carry and accuracy. Overall, Baylee is a hard-working player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
