07/10/2016 - College PREP - Sugar Land (Houston), TX Brandi is a 2020 second baseman / outfielder that is continuing to develop her skill set. As an infielder, Brandi receives the ball with sure hands. She hustles to make the play and is never afraid to get dirty. When throwing, Brandi's arm slot fits her position, she releases with her momentum towards her target, and makes on line throws. In the outfield, Brandi has efficient footwork and maintains good body control. She makes the catch out in front of her body and transitions well into her throwing position. Offensively, Brandi has a slightly closed setup. She makes consistent contact and does a good job of extending through the ball. By working to incorporate her lower half, Brandi will see an increase in her power numbers. Overall, Brandi is a young developing player that with hard work and dedication will continue to increase her skill level.
