She creates smooth rhythm with a back load. She generates explosive bat speed, takes a direct route to the ball and makes hard contact. She lets the ball get deep in the zone and shows gap power production. Behind the plate, Brooke is a vocal leader. She gives her defense confidence and does a nice job of controlling the pace with her pitcher. She presents a good target, receives the ball well and makes a clean transfer. She gets in line with her target and makes accurate throws. She is quick to block and does a nice job of centering the ball. Working to stay low in her throwing footwork will allow her to gain more momentum to her target. Overall, Brooke has the tools needed to the play at the collegiate level.
