11/20/2016 - College PREP - Savannah, GA Caitlin is a 2018 catcher with a strong skill set. Defensively, Caitlin has efficient foot work and handles her body with athleticism behind the plate. She receives the ball out in front and stick the ball where its pitched. Caitlin uses her momentum well to help with her quickness and strength behind the plate. She also makes on-line throws to her target with consistency. Offensively, Caitlin has a strong appearance and takes a soft stride to contact. She stays balanced throughout her swing and rotates her core for strength and coordination. By engaging more of her lower half and focusing on her hand path, Caitlin will gain power at contact and consistency by staying inside the ball. Overall, Caitlin will continue to improve on what is needed to take her game to the next level.
