08/19/2017 - College PREP - Sioux Falls, SD Caitlin is a 2018 LHP with a developing skill set. She is a tall strong athletic player who demonstrates good work ethic and is very coachable. On the mound she is a calm lefty who keeps the ball down in the zone. She throws a fastball and a change that continues to improve. She has the correct spin on her fastball and controls it low in the zone that will be hard for hitters to square up. At the plate she makes consistent contact and sprays the ball to all fields. Continuing to work on using her lower half more will utilize her natural power. Overall Caitlin is a player who will continue to grow with more experience and game time and with the right coaching can be successful at the next level.
