02/15/2020 - Softball Factory Mid-Atlantic Offensive Skills Weekend - Columbia, MD Carlie is an athletic 2B prospect who worked hard on her skills during the Accelerated Training Weekend. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a soft stride. She is controlled getting her hands activated in a simple load and is explosive driving her lower half through. She takes a smooth, compact swing with plus bat speed, leading to loud contact and great raw power. Consistently maintaining center balance throughout her swing can help Carlie improve as a hitter. Overall, Carlie is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop her skills on the field.
12/28/2019 - College PREP - Pittsburgh, PA Carlie Miller is a 2021 second baseman and right-handed pitcher with a developing skill set. At second base, Carlie gets rid of the ball quick, has active feet, and has soft hands when receiving the ball. On the mound, Carlie keeps the ball low, has a calm and confident presence, and demonstrates consistent mechanics. Offensively, Carlie is fluid and hits the ball well to the opposite field. Overall, Carlie is vocal and has a clear love for the game.
