04/22/2018 - College PREP - Columbia, SC Caroline is a 2020 right handed catcher and third baseman with a developing skill set. Behind the plate, she is agile in her range and blocks the ball well. She sticks pitches and steal strikes for her pitchers. She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and makes accurate throws to bases. At third base, Caroline has a strong base and charges the ball well. She moves well laterally to her glove side and has soft hands when receiving the ball. She creates solid momentum through each play and keeps the ball in the infield. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She stays fluid and smooth in her rhythm and center in her balance. She uses her legs well to create more power behind her contact. Overall, Caroline works hard and if she continues to do so she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
