On the mound, she has a calm and confident presence and extends through on her release She keeps an open hip direction and stays tall in her finish. She is athletic and fluid in her arm action with controlled mechanics on all of her pitches. She shows correct spin on her pitches and has tight spin on her screw ball. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and stays center in her balance. Her hips and hands work well together in her swing and she has quick hands through the zone. She makes consistently hard contact and has the ability to spray the ball to all sides of the field. Overall, Carrie has great work ethic and will do what it takes to play at the next level.
