She has a strong arm for her age with an overhand velocity of 59MPH and a pop time of 1.78. In the box, Charleigh has sound mechanics and can hit to both sides of the field. Blocking drills and getting her belly button to the plate, as well as extension drills on the tee will help Charleigh take her game to the next level. Overall, she has the ability to further improve her skills on the softball field.
06/23/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Frederick, MD Charleigh is a C prospect who will graduate in 2025. Behind the plate, Charleigh shows fluid footwork and is agile moving to block. She sits in a low stance and receives with soft hands. She makes a clean exchange and gains ground well on her throws, keeping them accurate with carry through the 2B bag. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. She gets into her load well and produces consistent contact to the opposite field. Overall, Charleigh is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further develop her skills on the field.
