07/31/2019 - Softball Factory World Series - Prospects Chayla is a 2023 right handed second baseman with a developing skill set. She's a team player and very coachable. Defensively, she has a good pre pitch motion and comes through each play smoothly. She needs to work on fielding the ball more out front so that she doesn't let the ball get too deep and stop the momentum through the play. She makes accurate throws to her target and works hard on the field each pitch. Offensively, she is athletic in her stance and sees the ball well into the zone. As Chayla continues to build more confidence in her abilities she will begin to be more aggressive and drive her barrel through the zone to contact. Overall, Chayla is ready at all times and stays engaged each pitch.
