01/12/2024 - Softball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Chelsea is a 2025 grad out of Ethridge, TN who pitches with great confidence and versatility. Chelsea has tight spin on her pitches and an excellent changeup. She has great mound presence and is a movement pitcher. In the box, Chelsea makes consistent contact and hits the ball to both sides of the field. Overall, Chelsea has a strong skill set on the diamond.
01/13/2023 - Softball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Chelsea is a 2025 graduate out of Ethridge, TN who is a RHP. She plays hard and brings energy to the team. Chelsea has a high softball IQ and uses her body well for her small stature. She competes on the mound and is aggressive working ahead in the count. In the box, Chelsea gets to contact and has good extension producing a 65MPH exit velocity. She continues to show strides of reaching her full potential. Overall, Chelsea has a solid set of skills on the diamond.
12/16/2022 - Softball Factory Academic All-American Tournament Chelsea is a 2025 graduate who pitches, plays shortstop, and is a threat from the left side of the box. She has quick footwork when fielding the ball and a strong softball IQ. Her barrel is consistent to contact, and she produces line drives to both sides of the field. On the mound, Chelsea has a good curve ball and solid mechanics. She continues to show strides of reaching her full potential. Overall, Chelsea is a very versatile player with a solid set of skills on the diamond.
06/25/2021 - Softball Factory All-State Tournament Chelsea is a 2025 SS and RHP. She is engaged and is a team player. In the box, Chelsea has a narrow setup and fast bat speed. She needs to work on going with the pitch, not trying to pull everything so she can hit both sides of the plate more efficiently. At SS, she is smooth and makes accurate throws. On the mound, Chelsea showcased her screw, curve, and changeup. She has a calm presence and competes. Increased leg drive and arm speed will directly impact her velocity and spin rate. Overall, Chelsea is young and has the ability to improve her game on the diamond.
10/25/2020 - All-In Membership - Nashville, TN Chelsea is a skilled, switch hitting, 2-way player as a SS/RHP who showed well on the diamond. With the bat, she shows similarly from both sides. She has an athletic setup with good balance and active hands to load. She takes an aggressive swing with + bat speed, squares the ball up consistently and hits hard line-drives. At SS, she has active prep and comes to get the GB. She presents her glove out in front, makes the plays with soft hands and has a clean transfer to throw. On the mound, this RHP has a 4-pitch arsenal coming from a repeatable delivery. She keeps her eyes on the target, maintains fluid tempo and finishes complete. FB tops out at 48 mph as she pounds the zone with strikes. Breaking ball has good shape with tight spin and sharp action showing to be a solid 'K' pitch. SC has tight spin and will be tough for hitters to square up. Arm works fluidly throughout the delivery as she has good wrist snap. Chelsea (2025 grad) is a talented 2-way prospect who has a bright future in the game.
