01/20/2018 - College PREP - Kapolei (Honolulu), HI Colby is a 2022 SS with a balanced skill set. In the box, Colby is a RHH that uses an athletic stance with a square stride and centered balance. She generates fast bat speed, makes square contact and is able to work opposite field. Working to load her hands will allow her to create more rhythm in her swing. At SS, Colby is an athletic player with agile range. She presents her glove on time, fields with soft hands and makes a clean exchange. She has a quick arm action and makes accurate throws. Playing through the ball and following through her throw will allow her to see more carry on the ball. Overall, Colby is an athletic player and with continued hard work she will take her game to the next level.
